When we think of what we are best at, this project was the pinnacle of it. After a small flood, this client decided it was time for a full remodeling. We floated the popcorn ceiling, opened up the kitchen, and converted to a walk in shower. We stripped this suite to its bones, modified the electrical, and rebuilt it to be a Yaletown executive rental.

Running into an asymmetrical scenario in old buildings tends to be expected. Good thing this client trusted us with on the spot design choices to push through barriers and save time. It might be mirrors that have nothing to line up against or oversized barn doors that need to slip under bulk heads; creative thinking is the constant that sets remodelling apart from new builds.

Deep Cove, Gallant Ave

Not all projects are ideal. Minimal utility access and an unexpected summer rainstorm set us back on this iconic Deep Cove job in front of Honey's Doughnuts. At the time we thought we bit of more than we could chew with these stones and this pattern, but after learning from our mistakes, we pushed through to a great finished product. Many projects later, we laugh at the mistakes we made, but take seriously their lessons.

There is no caulking or moldings to hide imperfections in masonry. This makes every manhole into a battle no matter the size. Every stone cutter has to simultaneously be an artist and an economist in their approach. It takes awhile, but as long as you focus on one stone at a time, eventually you end up with a beautiful output.

Factory Direct Custom Blinds

We custom order blinds from a local factory so you can have a tight fit for each window with various colours and transparency levels to choose from. Estimates can be done in person or over the phone depending on window complexity.

Note: Cellulose blinds over 72" or Pleated blinds require high cost special orders
